Cindy,
So nice. A very "Japanese" sensibility to this one. But I especially like the dimensionality and texture of the snow itself; it is not a generic, emblematic chunk of snow but a vertical landscape, a crystalline structure itself.
Does a close look suggest that the tuft of snow is hanging in a spider's web? I'll bet she or he was surprised with that catch, if one can imagine a spider with a concept such as surprise. (Hmmm... maybe a "Spidey Sense"?)
Well, if you're going to have "blue again," it should be such a luminous blue.
Hugs and all bests, Paul
Oh dear, they have left the taps open again in the ice cream factory , thats what you get from having cheap labour !! :-) Very nice shot too
Best wishes

Compliments for your recent wintry pictures, Cindy. Snow already! Poetic and quite 'Japanese', as our DC correspondent already stated ;-)
Ciao,
Wow! So beautiful and so delicate. Such fine soft light. A moment in time that won't last long. Great capture and an inspiration for me to look even closer at my surroundings as winter approaches slowly but surely.
I hope you have a pleasant weekend, Greg
Gorgeous pic, gal, lovely and crisp and clear but with a certain softness around it and lovely shades of colour
Hello friend
beautiful image
There are so many things to enjoy and our time on earth is so short, suffering is a waste of time. We have to enjoy the winter snow and spring flowers, the sea and rivers, chocolate, books, wine, tacos, soccer, tango.
greetings
you have a good night
much love
Hi Cindy!
Sorry for not having got back to you regarding the potential Christmas card... (I've been farming hard!)
Have you decided on the photo? This one's fascinating and would be just right if coupled with a fitting haiku.
Happy Monday!
Audrey :-)
i can see a damaged heart, there... and the blue period is starting with many surprises for our hearts and eyes!
Only the Friends/Favorites of glaciergirl1 can post to this guestbook.
Finally the snow....and a beautiful blue sky.
Thanks for the compliment.
Big hug.
Have a nice weekend.
